What we collect

Your email address, when you vote on a problem, follow the frontier, or submit a problem.

Problem statements you submit, and the domain you file them under.

Standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested — kept briefly for abuse prevention and debugging.

How we use it

To send the confirmation links you request, updates about problems you voted on, and frontier dispatches you subscribed to. Nothing else — no advertising, no unrelated mail.

IP addresses are used only for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

Cookies and storage

One functional cookie identifies you after you confirm your email, so voting stays one click. Your browser's local storage remembers unconfirmed votes. There are no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics cookies.

Where it lives

Data is stored on infrastructure in the United States: our application host (Railway), our database (Neon), and our email delivery provider (AgentMail, sending via Amazon SES). These providers process data only on our behalf.

What we share

Nothing. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone beyond the service providers above.

Your choices

Email beyond@nthresearch.org to unsubscribe from everything, correct your information, or have your data deleted. Deletion removes your votes and subscription; problem statements already published on the board can stay at your option.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new effective date.
